Issues With 911 Calling System Reported In Southeastern CT
Several area towns are reporting issues that may impact some callers' ability to reach 911 operators.
STONINGTON, CT — Several area towns are reporting issues that may impact some callers' ability to reach 911 operators.
Groton, Stonington, East Lyme, Ledyard, Norwich, and Waterford are all reporting problems with emergency calls. Departments in other parts of the state are also reporting similar issues.

The state Emergency Management & Homeland Security Department also posted:
Please be advised that the state of CT 9-1-1 system is currently experiencing issues. If you cannot call 9-1-1, please text to 9-1-1.
