Issues and Concerns for Stonington Velvet Mill Raised at Community Dialogue

STONINGTON, CT- Monday’s Velvet Mill Community Dialogue brought a number of issues concerning the property to the forefront, as reported by the Westerly Sun.
The meeting was aimed at creating a mutual understanding of the issues and concerns held by Velvet Mill manager, neighbors and tenants of the building, the Westerly Sun reported. Topics of discussion at the dialogue included generating more traffic, introducing new businesses and improving the safety of the mill.
Business owners within the property expressed the importance of traffic for their business, according to the Westerly Sun. Other issues raised included problematic parking along Bayview Avenue and loud noise among other things.
