Jury Convicts Man Of DUI, Assault In Mystic Hit-And-Run: Report

A man faces up to 18 years in prison for striking and severely injuring a woman in Mystic in 2019, according to a report.

MYSTIC, CT — A man was convicted in connection with an accident that severely injured a 28-year-old woman in 2019 in Mystic, according to The New London Day. A jury at New London Superior Court convicted Ryan Ragalis, 29, of New Britain, of DUI, second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, and second-degree assault that results in physical injury.

It was Ragalis' fifth DUI conviction. He will be sentenced April 23 and faces up to 18 years in prison.
