Literary Agent to Address Authors

Jan Kardys to Speak at SECAPA Meeting 
    The Southeast Chapter of the Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association will present the President of Black Hawk Literary Agency,Jan Kardys at its next meeting Monday, January 20, at 6:30 PM at the Groton Inn and Suites, Gold Star Highway, Groton.
    Kardys has thirty years of diversified publishing experience for nine major publishing corporations, and her agency represents a broad spectrum of authors and illustrators. She is chairperson of the Unicorn Writers Conference to be held in March in Portland CT. With expertise derived from a work history ranging from esteemed publishing houses to Google, Kardys will address writers and published authors on the topic “Changes in Book Publishing Today: Self Publishing vs Traditional Publishing Marketing Platforms.”
    The presentation will follow a brief business meeting that commences at 6:30 PM and refreshments will be served during a networking session.
