Make a Valentine at Whyevernot

Whyevernot is once again getting into the Valentine’s Day spirit. The store is inviting anyone who wants to make a Valentine to stop in and write a note on a paper heart. The hearts are hung in the store window.

The shop started the tradition of the window of hearts 25 years ago. Hearts start to go up the beginning of January and come down the week after Valentine’s Day. Whyevernot holds onto the hearts for about a month so contributors can pick them up for keepsakes. For those just passing through town, the store will mail them.

The store is open Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
