Man Charged With Driving Recklessly Through Olde Mistick Village
A Groton man is facing a charge of driving under the influence through Olde Mistick Village's pedestrian walkways.
STONINGTON, CT — A Groton man is facing charges that he recklessly drove through pedestrian walkways at Olde Mistick Village while dragging a street sign and pole from his car, The Westerly Sun reported. David Kennedy, 52, of Shennecosset Road, was charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving.
The incident occurred the afternoon of Oct. 7 when police received numerous calls about a reckless driver. An investigation found that Kennedy had driven his car through several signs and then into Olde Mistick Village.
