Man Charged With OUI After Serious Injury Crash In North Stonington: Reports

A man is facing charges after state police found him at fault for a serious injury accident, according to reports.

NORHT STONINGTON, CT — A driver was charged with OUI following a crash that led to serious injuries Saturday night, according to WFSB 3-TV.

The accident was reported at 11:19 p.m. on Norwich Westerly Road/Route 2 in North Stonington.

Antonio Osorio-Vicente, 30, is accused of striking another car, which rolled over, WTNH News-8 reported.

A passenger in the vehicle is believed to have suffered serious injuries. One person was taken by LIFESTAR helicopter to the hospital.

Route 2 was closed overnight but has since reopened to traffic.

Osorio-Vicente was charged with operating under the influence, reckless driving, failure to grant right of way at an intersection, driving the wrong way and second-degree assault with a motor vehicle.
