Man Charged With Pointing Gun At DOT Worker In Pawcatuck: Report

Stonington police said a man has been charged with pointing a gun at a DOT worker during an argument last summer.

STONINGTON, CT — Police said a North Stonington man was charged Tuesday with pointing a gun at a Department of Transportation worker during an argument last summer, the New London Day reported.

According to the Day, police said the incident occurred on Aug. 28 when the two exchanged words on Route 49 in Pawcatuck. The worker told police the accused pointed a handgun at him during the exchange, and he also provided officers with information about the gun and the accused's vehicle.

Police said Kyle Colechia, 24, was taken into custody after officers obtained a warrant for his arrest, according to the Day.
