Man Charged In Serious Injury Crash In North Stonington: State Police
A man was charged with reckless driving and evading responsibility in an accident, according to police.
NORTH STONINGTON, CT — A man was arrested for his role in a May head-on crash that left a woman with serious injuries in North Stonington, according to state police.
The accident occurred May 2 on Route 2 when a pickup truck crossed the double yellow line and struck a sedan.
A 75-year-old woman was trapped in the sedan and had to be removed by crews. She was taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The driver, Gregory White, 43, is accused of fleeing the scene of the crash on foot, according to the arrest warrant.
He was charged with reckless driving, evading responsibility with serious physical injuries, failure to drive in proper lane, second-degree assault resulting in physical injury with a weapon, and first-degree reckless endangerment.

White was released on $50,000 bond.
