Man With Multiple DUI Convictions Sentenced For Mystic Crash: Report

A man was convicted of DUI for a fifth time and sentenced to prison for a 2019 accident in Mystic that seriously injured a woman.

MYSTIC, CT — A man with a history of drunk driving has been sentenced to 12 years in prison in connection with a 2019 crash in Mystic that seriously injured a 28-year-old woman, The New London Day reported.

Ryan Ragalis, 29, of New Britain, was convicted earlier in the year of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, and second-degree assault.

Ragalis' blood-alcohol level was reportedly more than three times the legal limit of .08 following the crash.
