Man Stabbed During Drug Deal In Stonington: Police

Police said a man was stabbed during a drug transaction in Stonington.

STONINGTON, CT - Police said a man was stabbed during a drug transaction that occurred Saturday in Stonington, as reported by the New London Day. Two men have been charged in the incident, and the unidentified victim was later treated and released from the hospital, police said.

Police said the stabbing occurred in the area of Whitehall Avenue after the victim and his girlfriend had gone to the area to buy narcotics from Alec M. Seekins, 21, of Mystic, according to the New London Day. Police said a fight broke out during the transaction between the victim, Seekins and Timothy O’Reilly, 28, of Westerly, R.I.

Police said the victim told officers he noticed he was bleeding from his arm after the suspects ran off, the New London Day reported. Both Seekins and O'Reily were charged in the incident and are due to appear in court in January, police said.
