MASH RECEIVES GRANT FROM CHELSEA GROTON FOUNDATION

Mystic (June 30, 2016) — Mystic Area Shelter & Hospitality, Inc. (MASH) has received a generous grant from the Chelsea Groton Foundation to address the problem of family homelessness in our communities. The $5,000 funding will be used to support MASH’s successful homelessness prevention programs which respond to the immediate needs of homeless and imminently homeless families with minor children.

The Chelsea Groton Foundation funding will directly fund MASH’s ongoing efforts to find sustainable housing solutions for homeless and at-risk families, and to troubleshoot employment, childcare, and transportation issues that can impact long-term stability.
