Mayflower II Undergoing Restoration at Mystic Seaport

The ship will depart the Plimoth Plantation shortly and head toward the Seaport.

Mystic Seaport and Plimoth Plantation are pleased to announce a collaborative project to restore and repair Mayflower II, a full-scale reproduction ship owned by Plimoth Plantation.

The restoration will take place at the Henry B. duPont Preservation Shipyard at Mystic Seaport and work will begin this month on a multi-year, phased restoration plan. Mayflower II is scheduled to depart the Plymouth waterfront for Mystic Seaport sometime over the next several days depending on weather conditions.
