Motorcyclist Charged After Wheelie Causes Crash In Mystic: Police

Police said a motorcyclist from Preston has been charged with causing a crash in Mystic last month.

MYSTIC, CT - Police said a motorcyclist from Preston has been charged with causing a crash in Mystic last month, the Westerly Sun reported. Police also said the crash occurred after the suspect was doing tricks on his motorcycle along Route 27 and collided with a car.

Noah P. Kent was charged July 27 in the crash, which occurred July 12, according to the Westerly Sun. He has been charged with driving recklessly at more than 85 miles per hour. Investigators said that Kent had been doing motorcycle tricks at the time of the incident, and was performing a wheelie when he hit the car, the Westerly Sun reported. The suspect was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered multiple injuries as a result of the collision.
