Mr. Wiggles the Opossum Needs New Hats
The marsupial is with Mystic's Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center and staff say he outgrew his pouch!

Mr. Wiggles was the sole survivor after his opossum family was struck by a car. He was rehabilitated by Lori Edwards, a licensed animal rehabilitator at the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center.
Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center provided an update on Mr. Wiggles:
Mr. Wiggles needs help! He has grown so fast, he has outgrown his pouch — and as a marsupial, he needs his pouch! So we are looking for donations of old fleece hats, or if you are handy with a needle and thread, new pouches sewn out of fleece. You can drop them off at the Nature Center front desk. Check out the before and after pics to see how much he has outgrown it. Mr. Wiggles says thanks!
