Mystic Aquarium Invites Members to 'Washed Ashore' Event

The Mystic Aquarium shared the following information on its website.

Title: Member After-Hours Event: Washed Ashore When: Monday, Nov. 10, 4 to 7:30 p.m.

Join us on the evening of Monday, Nov. 10, for a special Member After-Hours event. Enjoy our newest exhibit, Washed Ashore, fun activities, and special discounts without the daytime crowds.

From 3 to 7 p.m., bring a friend (or two or three or more!) and they’ll pay only $10 each for their admission ticket plus they’ll get the 4-D Theater for free! (If you have a membership with a free guest(s) option, your guest(s) can attend the event at no additional charge.)

No reservations needed! Members can enter the facility anytime between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. and visit until 7:30 p.m. (the Aquarium closes to the public at 5 p.m.) Outdoor exhibits will be open until 4:45 pm weather permitting. Please note some exhibits including Ray Touch Pool, Foxwoods Marine Theater and Ocean Exploration Center may not be open during the evening hours.

Stop by the Penguins Cafe between 4 to 7 p.m. and enjoy our dinner special:

One Nathan’s Famous hot dog, one fountain drink, and one bag of chips for only $6.00! Apple crisp, coffee, tea and hot chocolate will also be available for purchase.

4 to 7 p.m.: Dinner special and apple crisp available for purchase in the Penguins Cafe.

4 to 7 p.m.: *Sea Monsters 4-D: A Prehistoric Adventure in the 4-D Theater.

*Sea Monsters 4-D is recommended for children ages 8 and older.

5 to 7 p.m.: In Classroom K, help complement our upcoming exhibit, Washed Ashore Wonderland, by creating ornaments made from recycled materials that will be on display later this holiday season. Please bring a clean 20 oz. plastic bottle for each ornament. Bring two bottles and make a second ornament to take home with you! You can also participate in our Washed Ashore scavenger hunt!

4 to 7:30 p.m: Members save an extra 5% (for a total of 15% off) on most items in the Aquarium Store.

Bay Circle, Sea Circle and Ocean Society members are invited to a private reception from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Ocean Exploration Center. Please RSVP for the reception by emailing lshell@searesearch.org.
