Mystic Hit & Run Being Investigated, Police Seek Witnesses
Sunday morning, a woman was struck and seriously injured in downtown Mystic. The driver fled but was later located. Police seek witnesses.
MYSTIC, CT—Groton Town police are investigating an early Sunday morning hit-and-run in downtown Mystic. Groton Emergency Dispatch received numerous calls about the incident on Water Street where a woman was "seriously" injured.
According to The Day, the suspected driver was located in Stonington. Police did not name the suspect.
The woman was transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital. Her condition is unknown.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Groton Town Police Department at (860) 441-6712.
On Facebook police wrote that the case remains active and they're seeking the "public’s assistance."
