Mystic Irish Parade 2026: What To Know
Information has been released for the upcoming Mystic Irish Parade, which is in its 21st year.
MYSTIC, CT — The 21st Annual Mystic Irish Parade will be Sunday, March 22, with the parade starting at 1 p.m. at the south parking lot of Mystic Seaport.
The Mystic Irish Parade has become the region’s largest, drawing roughly 2,000 participants and attracting 30,000-plus spectators each year, organizers said.
This year’s parade marks the 21st anniversary of the Mystic tradition, “promising a spectacular display of Irish pride and community spirit.”

Susette Tibus, a lifelong Mystic resident and co-owner of Simply Majestic jewelry, will serve as the the Grand Marshal, according to the parade's website.
“While Tibus has been a dedicated supporter and a familiar face marching at the front of the parade for many years, the foundation is thrilled to officially name her as the leader of the 2026 procession,” according to a statement released by the foundation. “Susette is a pillar of the community.”

Tibus, who currently serves as the president and CEO of the Mystic Aquarium, has a long history of community leadership, including serving as past president of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce and the Olde Mistick Merchants’ Association.
