Mystic Man Found Passed Out With Vehicle In Reverse: Report

Police said officers broke the window of the accused's vehicle after he was found passed out inside with the transmission in reverse.

STONINGTON, CT — Police said officers broke the window of an intoxicated Mystic man's car after he was found passed out inside with the vehicle's transmission in reverse, the New London Day reported.

According to the Day, police said Thomas L. Duncan, 60, was found sitting in the locked car with the engine running late Monday night. An officer broke one of the vehicle's windows after the accused did not respond to officers, who feared Duncan was suffering from a medical problem, police said.

Police said the accused was arrested after he failed subsequent field sobriety tests, according to the Day.
