Mystic Man Threatens Stonington Police “Dallas All Over Again” After Arrest

He was arrested before the remark for breach of peace and a couple other charges.

MYSTIC, CT- A man threatened Stonington Police with a Dallas-style attack late Sunday afternoon after being arrested, as reported by The Day.

Police said Gregory Metzger, 51, was placed under arrest after causing a disruption on Cottrell Street close to 5:30 p.m., wherein the victim claimed he had been loud, disruptive and using foul language, The Day reported. Metzenger told police while in custody that it would “be Dallas all over again” before he was done with them, in reference to the attack last week in which five police officers were murdered.

Metzger reportedly also refused to exit the cruiser and had to be removed by police, according to The Day. He is currently on one-year probation for an April DUI conviction and was arraigned in court Monday.
