Mystic Man Working To Honor Brother Killed in Korean War
More than half a century later, a Mystic man is still working to have his brother who died in the Korean War awarded the Medal of Honor.

MYSTIC, CT - A Mystic man is seeking recognition for his brother who served in the Korean War, Fox 61 reported. While in combat, his brother fought and made the ultimate sacrifice.
Michael Keenan said his brother Joe was killed at the age of 20, according to Fox 61. His battalion came under intense enemy fire in 1953, during which Joe Keenan continued to fight after being wounded and subsequently died. More than half a century after losing his brother, Keenan is still working to have Joe awarded the Medal of Honor, according to Fox 61. The Keenan's are currently being assisted by the office of Congressman Joe Courtney to bring this honor to fruition.
