Mystic Restaurant Serves Best BBQ In State, New Rankings Say

MYSTIC, CT — If you're craving pulled pork or brisket, you can still get your fix in Connecticut. The best barbecue restaurant in the state serves those slow-cooked meats and more in Mystic, according to one website's rankings.

Noble Smokehouse got the nod from 24/7 Tempo. Here's what they had to say about the Mystic establishment:

"Connecticut isn’t exactly a barbecue capital, and the picturesque tourist town of Mystic is probably the last place you’d expect to find pork belly burnt ends, Texas brisket chili, or Memphis-style pulled pork sandwiches, but all those and other smoky favorites are on the menu at this spot opened by Josh Feldman in 2021."

The restaurant was selected as a Reader’s Choice and Experts Pick in CT Magazine for the last three years.

Noble Smokehouse is located at 4 Roosevelt Ave. and is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day except Tuesday.
