The Mystic Woman’s Club recently awarded the proceeds from its annual Poinsettia Sale to the Towns of Groton and Stonington for their Heating Relief Funds. Grants in the amount of $1186 each were sent to the two towns.
The club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs in Connecticut. The club meets on the second Thursday of each month, September through May, at 7pm, in the undercroft at St. Mark’s church in Mystic. Prospective members are encouraged to visit meetings, which are open to the public.
