Nature Center’s Spooky Nature Trail Set for Oct. 21 and 22

The trail is open 5:30-7:30 p.m., both nights. From 5:30-7 p.m. the trail offers a "mild" scare, and from 7-7:30 p.m. the scare is moderate.

The forest and trails at the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center will once again be full of ghosts, goblins, ghouls and other scary surprises for the annual Spooky Nature Trail, Oct. 21 and 22 at the center, 109 Pequotsepos Road, Mystic.

The trail is open 5:30-7:30 p.m., both nights. From 5:30-7 p.m. the trail offers a “mild” scare, and from 7-7:30 p.m. the scare notches up to “moderate.”

Investigate the Nature Center trails on a self-guided tour past wild animals, Jack-o-lanterns and other frightful and delightful creatures! In addition to the haunted woods, visitors will enjoy Halloween treats and cider, spooky crafts for children, games and up-close visits with the Nature Center's resident snakes, turtles and frogs. Appropriate for ages 4+. Don't forget your flashlight! No strollers please.

Admission is $12/youth (17 and under) and $8/adult. Tickets are available in advance online at www.dpnc.org/calendar, and are on sale at the gate both nights.
