North Stonington Animal Rescuer's Home Destroyed By Fire
The rescue has helped 600 dogs throughout its history.

NORTH STONINGTON, CT — The home of a well-known animal rescuer was destroyed in a Wednesday morning blaze.
Cathy Leinert is the owner of Cathy's Rottie Rescue Rehab and Sanctuary on Cossaduck Hill. She currently has 19 dogs in her car and is looking to find them homes, according to the Day. Some of the dogs are ready for adoption.
The shelter has rescued 600 dogs throughout its history.
