North Stonington Home Damaged In Fire

NORTH STONINGTON, CT - A cat died and a home was damaged in a Thursday morning fire, according to the Westerly Sun. Firefighters responded to the 11:05 a.m. call at 15 Meadow Wood Drive and extinguished the blaze in about 20 minutes.

The home's kitchen was badly damaged and other parts of the home suffered smoke and water damage. The exact cause and origin of the fire will be determined by the fire marshal.
