North Stonington Memorial Day Parade Taking Place on May 25

The North Stonington Memorial Day Parade sponsored by the North Stonington Lions Club will take place on Monday, May 25th. The Parade will step off from the North Stonington Grange Fairgrounds at 10:00 a.m. The Parade will proceed down Wyassup Road, through the Village on Main Street, then along Route 2 to Rocky Hollow Road, back through the Village and end at the Wheeler Middle School for the Memorial Day Ceremony. In case of severe weather such that the Parade must be cancelled there will be a Memorial Service held at the North Stonington Grange at 10:00 a.m.

This year’ participants include the Wheeler Middle School/High School Band, the 5th CT Vol. Infantry, Nutmeg Vol. Fife and Drum Corp, the Little League, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, North Stonington Grange, North Stonington Garden Club, local Fire and Ambulance Companies, Antique Autos, 4H Clubs, local horse drawn carriages,
