Obituary: ​Aleesha-lin Wood, 27, of North Stonington

Aleesha-lin Wood, 27, of North Stonington, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 16, 2017. She was born September 1, 1990, the daughter of Todd Willcox and the late Julie Wood.

Aleesha graduated from North Stonington Wheeler High School. She enjoyed sports and had many friends. Aleesha loved life and had the act of lighting up a room.

Aleesha is survived by her son, Ashton Wood, as well as many relatives of the Wood and Willcox families.

Her family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, October 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. Burial in Main-Brown-Peckham Cemetery in Ledyard will be private for the family at a later date.
