Alice and her brother Jim were extremely close. They were perhaps UConn Women’s Basketballs biggest fans, traveling all over the country for tournaments. She was also an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Anyone who knew Alice knew she was a strong, loving and truly unselfish woman. Many might say she was a fantastic fierce little lady. She was always on the go, whether playing golf, yard work, and line dancing or going out to eat with friends. She spent nearly every day in the company of her friends or family, which was what made her happiest.

In addition to her husband Jim, Alice was pre-deceased by her son Mark, grandson Randy, and siblings Edmund Fish, Nancy Pollard, and James Fish. She is survived by her children, Gary, Daniel and wife Suzanne, Nancy and husband Mike and Karen and wife Lisa. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, Mark, Shawn, Diahann, Coral, Scott, Anna, James, Sean, and Meagan, and great-grandchildren Alex, Jayden, Sophia, and Ava, as well as several extended family members and loving friends. She was deeply loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Our family would like to thank everyone who assisted Alice in the past two years. You helped our Mom in so many ways and made her life more manageable. We truly appreciate all of you. Sunshine is the best.

A service for Alice will be held at noon on Wednesday, November 30th at the Mystic Funeral Home located on Route 1 in Mystic. Her family will receive friends starting at 10:00 am Wednesday, up until the time of the service. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
