Beatrice L. Davis Scott, 92, of Mystic, passed away Thursday October 1, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Scott was born on December 13, 1922 in Norwich, CT the daughter of the late George Davis and Irene Fowler Davis Gilchrist.

She was married on December 6, 1941 in Mystic to the late William F. Scott, Sr, and had devoted her life to the care of her husband and children. She will be remembered with love by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well.

Her survivors include a daughter and son in law Phyllis and Bill Gregory, with whom she had made her home, her son Thomas Scott of Plainfield, CT, a sister Belle Jordan of Groton, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Scott had also been predeceased by her son William F. Scott, Jr, and two sisters Lucille Allen and Dorothy Haley.

Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St. is assisting her family with private graveside services to be held in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Mystic.

In lieu of flowers, her family has requested that any donations in her memory be directed to the Center for Hospice Care, 227 Dunham St, Norwich, CT 06360.
