Obituary: Frederick J. Martell, 64, of Stonington

Frederick J. Martell, age 64, of Pequot Trail Stonington, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 15th, 2016.

Born in New London Hospital, he was the son of the late William T. Martell of Stonington and Gladys E. (Lawrence) Martell currently of Mystic.

Frederick was a Guitar man ( Fabulous Fulsome Fredye ) to some. He also enjoyed arts, crafting, fishing and spending time with loved ones.

In addition to his mother, he will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Debra Martell. His six children, Jonah Martell, Joseph Martell, Jessie Ricciotti, Joshua Martell, James Martell and Justin Martell. Frederick also leaves many grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Service and burial is private at the family’s request.

Relatives and friends will be invited to attend a service at a later date.
