Obituary: Ingela M. Gram, 67, Of Mystic
She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always enjoyed spending time with her family.

Ingela Maria (Hoegberg) Gram, a resident of Mystic, CT and Jupiter, FL., beloved wife of the late Deacon Hans Jakob Gram died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, FL surrounded by her children.
Born in Stockholm, Sweden she was the daughter to the late Ake and Karin (Lilljequist) Hoegberg and was formerly a resident of Redding, CT. Ingela was a dog breeder for 23 years, participating in numerous events and dog shows throughout the state. She was also a licensed judge particularly for the toy and working dog groups and was a member of the American Kennel Club.

She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at the Masons Island Yacht Club with her grandchildren and their friends. Her family was most important to her and she will be deeply missed.
She was a devout catholic and was an active parishioner of St. Patrick Church in Mystic, St. Jude Catholic Church in Jupiter and St. Mary Church, in Ridgefield, CT.

Ingela is survived by her four children, Thomas Gram and his wife, Brigitte, of Mystic; Karin Battiston and her husband, Jeffery, of Mystic, Cecilia Klember and her husband, Joseph, of Tolland. CT; , Jacob Gram and his wife, Katherine, of Denver, CO; brother, Harald Hoegberg of Denver, CO; and her grandchildren, John Alex, Helen, Andrew, Marcus, Patrick, Nicole and Jacob Gram, Annie, Elizabeth, Caroline and Victoria Longo; Lainey, Brant, and Cole Battiston and Natalie, Jason and Michelle Klember.
Her family will receive friends at the Mystic Funeral Home on Route 1 in Mystic on Tuesday, March 27 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28 at St. Patrick Church (32 East Main Street, Mystic). Her burial will be held privately at the family plot in Ridgefield, CT.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Take the Lead (www.takethelead.org) or to Enders Island (www.endersisland.com).
