Obituary: Scott William Keeler, 53, Of Old Mystic

Scott William Keeler, 53, of Old Mystic died Monday, August 20, 2018 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 18, 1965, the son of Heather (Orkney) Shortman and Charles Carroll Keeler.

He attended Fitch Senior High School. He was self-employed in the sheet metal business.

Scott is survived by his nephew, Steven C. Keeler Jr., two nieces, and his former wife, Donna. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Steven C. Keeler Sr., his sister Laurie Ann Benshoof and his uncle Bob Keeler.

Scott's family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, August 30, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Dinoto Funeral Home (17 Pearl Street, historic downtown Mystic). A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, August 31, at 11 a.m. in Elm Grove Cemetery in Mystic.
