Owner Of 2 Acclaimed Mystic Restaurants Planning New Business
The owner of two critically-acclaimed Mystic restaurants is planning to open a new restaurant and butcher shop.

MYSTIC, CT - The owner of two critically-acclaimed Mystic restaurants is planning to open a third restaurant, as reported by the New London Day. He also plans to open a butcher shop, both of which would be located at 24 East Main Street.
Daniel Meiser is the owner of both the Oyster Club and Engine Room restaurants in Mystic, according to the New London Day. He is currently seeking a special use permit from the Stonington Planning and Zoning Commission to expand the existing East Main Street space to 52 seats with a permit to sell beer and wine. The property most recently housed Cafe 511, the New London Day reported. Meiser has indicated the location would serve as a traditional butcher shop and restaurant with take-out service.
