'Parks And Rec' Actor Swings By Mystic Restaurant

An actor from the sitcom series posted a photo of himself outside a Mystic restaurant on social media.

MYSTIC, CT — "Parks and Recreation" actor Jim O'Heir had lunch in Mystic while filming in the area on Friday, according to CT Insider. O'Heir, who played the role of Jerry Gergich on the show, posted a selfie on Facebook at the Jealous Monk restaurant.

"I’m filming in a beautiful little town called Mystic in CT," he wrote. "Today’s a day to explore and I think I’ve spotted my obvious lunch choice."

Jealous Monk Manager Brett Williamson said that some of the cast and crew came to the restaurant as they were filming around Mystick Village on Monday, CT Insider reported. What they're filming hasn't been revealed.

"Parks and Recreation" was a sitcom that ran from 2009 to 2015 on NBC. The show was created by Greg Daniels and Michael Schur, who also produced "The Office." The show went on to receive numerous Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy nominations.

Since the show ended O'Heir has appeared in numerous TV series, including "Better Call Saul" and "The Conners," according to his IMDB page.
