Pawcatuck Home Badly Damaged, Garage Destroyed In Fire: Report

STONINGTON, CT — A fire caused severe damage to a home at 53 Stanton Lane and destroyed an unattached garage Monday, according to The New London Day. The Wequetequock fire department responded to the call at 5:36 p.m., then called for assistance from other local departments.

The fire was under control in about 45 minutes. No one was home at the time and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to The New London Day.
