Pawcatuck Man Arrested On Drugs, Weapons Charges

A local man was charged following reports of a fight on Cross Street.

STONINGTON, CT - A Pawcatuck man was arrested on felony charges following a disturbance reported at Cross Street April 2, The Westerly Sun reported. Torin McKenna, 34, of 155 Broad St., was charged with possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of a prohibited weapon other than a firearm, and obstructing an officer.

McKenna was allegedly involved in a fight with another man. When police responded, they found a knife contained in a sheath on McKenna's person.
