Pawcatuck Man Charged For Using Child As Barrier: Report
A Pawcatuck man was charged after he reportedly used his child as a barrier against police officers.
STONINGTON, CT - A Pawcatuck man was arrested on charges that he locked his wife out of the couple's home, then used his child as a barrier when police officers attempted to enter the home for a welfare check, according to The Westerly Sun.
Ryan McLaughin, 31, of 22 Greenhaven Road, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, risk of injury to a child, misdemeanor criminal lockout, resisting arrest and failure to comply with fingerprint requests.
