Pawcatuck Man Seriously Injured Girlfriend: Report
A man has been arrested on assault charges.
STONINGTON, CT - A Pawcatuck man was arrested and held on $100,000 bond for stomping on his girlfriend's chest, according to The Westerly Sun. Geoffrey Brett Slack, 31, of 71 Mechanic St., Apt. 2, was held on $100,000 bond and charged with first-degree assault.
The victim required surgery following the incident. The arrest was Slack's second in two months, as he was charged with DUI in Groton March 14.
