Pawcatuck Mocktail Bar Announces Closing
A mocktail bar that opened last month on South Broad Street has closed.
PAWCATUCK, CT â A Pawcatuck mocktail bar that opened last month has closed. The Maritime Mocktail Bar & Cafe opened June 3 and announced it would be closing July 2.
The 37 Broad St. establishment served virgin alcoholic drinks made with zero-proof alcohol, according to a CT Examiner article. Keith Cowley, a nondrinker with 20 years of experience as a bartender, created the establishment's menu of mocktails.
The owners of Mocktail Bar & Cafe recently posted the following on Facebook:
