Person Trapped In Rollover Crash In North Stonington

NORTH STONINGTON, CT — A person had their hand trapped under a vehicle in a rollover accident in North Stonington on Saturday night, according to fire officials.

Emergency responders were dispatched to a reported rollover accident on Wintechog Hill Road with a person trapped at 7:42 p.m.

Crews stabilized the vehicle to prevent it from moving and used tools to lift the vehicle, freeing the person's hand.

Once crews were able to open the vehicle's door, they removed the person, who was then taken by ambulance to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for treatment.

No further details about the person's condition were released.
