Phenology is known as the study of periodic plant and animal life cycle events and how these are influenced by seasonal and interannual variations in climate, as well as habitat factors. Kick off the New Year in search of subtle seasonal changes that occur in nature along the trails at the Coogan Farm. We'll establish a baseline of observations during this first hike and continue our visits throughout the coming year.
