PHOTOS: Ribbon Cutting at Mystic’s FroyoWorld
The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce welcomed the popular frozen yogurt place to the area with a ribbon cutting.
Community members welcomed FroyoWorld to the area on Thursday with an official ribbon cutting. The self-serve frozen yogurt place at 12 Coogan Boulevard next to Five Guys and near the Mystic Starbucks opened in September.
Chris Segar and his father are the owners of the location, which is franchise started by Branford, Connecticut resident William Bok. The first FroyoWorld opened in New Haven in August 2010.
At FroyoWorld, customers get their choice of froyo by pulling a lever from a self-serve frozen yogurt machine and then decide how many toppings they want to put in their cup. Customers pay 49 cents for an ounce.
