Plain & Simple, "Eat healthy foods for a healthy lifestyle"

Many people seem to think medication is the only way to cure diseases.  Many just sigh and willingly accept the notion that heredity plays the largest part in determining their health.  Many try surgery and drastic beauty treatments to hold onto their looks.  It does not need to be so!  I believe we can heal ourselves and stay healthy and vital well into our later years with good nutrition, exercise, positive attitude, love and compassion.  I know this works because I’ve experienced it personally.  I’ve relieved myself of arthritic joint pain, moved away from diabetes and I have the energy of someone in their twenties.

Consider how much you would like your health to improve and the energy you would like to have.  Would you like to naturally control your weight without ever thinking about it?  Would you like to hop out of bed without aches or pains?  Would you like to enjoy who you see in the mirror?  Would you like to feel different emotionally and physically - almost like you did in childhood?

We know that what we eat matters, but that doesn’t make it any easier to change our diets and eat healthier.  Since we can’t see what is going on inside out bodies, we take our time committing to healthier eating and exercise habits unless we get sick.  Only when we start seeing those pesky lines on our face, or weigh more that we’d like, or wake up with aches and pains, are we prepared to commit to a healthier lifestyle.

A person too busy to take care of his or herself is like a mechanic too busy to take care of his own car.  Make time for yourself.  Toss out everything in your kitchen that does not serve you in better health, if this action pains you too much as being wasteful, donate the goods to a soup kitchen or shelter.  You can change one meal at a time, take your time or go all the way – it’s up to you!  But you will find as you feel better, taking better care of yourself will come naturally.

Once you have fallen in love with fresh whole plant-based foods, be kind to others who have not made the leap.  Allow them their opinions but don’t let it affect how you are feeling or what you are doing to help yourself.  When friends and family notice you have more energy, have lost unwanted pounds, rid yourself of medications, look younger and act stronger, they will take more interest in what you are doing.  Changing your health can be an inspiration to others.  By showing your body love by eating the right foods and partaking in physically challenging actives, it will take care of you in your old age.

It may take some time to get into the rhythm of preparing whole plant-based foods, but it will be time well spent.  Don’t give it ALL up if you don’t have time to do everything!  Don’t be hard on yourself if you break some rules.  Many men and women want to adopt a whole plant-based food diet, but their mates, families or friends are not interested or supportive.  This is where and when you make your health a priority and everything else will fall into place.  Be patient with yourself and others around you.  Changing the way you eat will absolutely change the way you feel and look.  It has happened to me and to thousands of others who have incorporated a plant-based diet into their lives.  It can happen to YOU once you decide to embrace a healthy eating lifestyle and a desire to feel energized and joyful.

It’s time to decide if you want to regenerate or degenerate your body by what you eat and how you live.  Once you learn how to do this, you can make informed choices on a daily basis.  It’s time for self-realization, not self-destruction.  It’s time to use all the wisdom and gifts you’ve gathered throughout your life.  It’s time to focus on your health and well-being and live the balance of your life joyfully and actively.
