Police Charge Rhode Island Woman with Prostitution at Mystic Hotel

STONINGTON, CT - Police have charged a Rhode Island woman with prostitution at a Mystic hotel, The Day reported.
Melissa A. Boutwell, 22, of Wood River Junction was charged early Friday morning by police, according to The Day. Officers were initially investigating an advertisement posted on Backpage.com.
Upon arrival, a discussion occurred between police and the suspect, who allegedly offered services for money, according to The Day. They had arranged to meet at a Route 27 hotel.
