Police End Search For Car That Plunged Into River

Police have suspended the search for a car that ended up in the Pawcatuck River.

STONINGTON, CT - Police have ended the search for a 2007 Saab that plunged into the Pawcatuck River on Jan. 1. The Westerly Sun reported that the car belonged to Andreas Berry Barbero, 23, of Providence, who was rescued following the crash by a bartender who pulled him through the driver's-side window to safety.

Police officials said they had exhausted their resources searching for the vehicle. Read the full story in the Sun.
