Popular Mystic Restaurant May Reopen In New Location

A popular Mystic restaurant may reopen in a new location if the owner cannot reach an agreement on a new lease for its current location.

MYSTIC, CT - A special use permit for a new downtown Mystic building was approved this week by the Planning and Zoning Commission, according to the New London Day. The permit will allow a popular local restaurant to reopen in a different location.

Angela Kanabis applied for the permit to possibly reopen her popular restaurant, Bravo Bravo, in a new building, according to the New London Day. The building would be constructed at 17-19 East Main Street. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)

Her application to construct a building for the restaurant and two second-floor apartments was approved by the commission Tuesday night, the New London Day reported. The move would take place if Kanabis cannot reach an agreement on a new lease for her current location in the Whaler’s Inn across the street.
