Pregnant Woman Dies in Stonington Accident on I-95

State Police say Alexandra Brown, 26, of Niantic who was nine months pregnant died when her car crashed on Interstate 95 in Stonington Tuesday morning, NBC Connecticut reports.

Brown’s baby was delivered through an emergency C-section and is listed in critical but stable condition, NBC Connecticut reports.

Brown’s car apparently “veered to the left and struck a metal rope guardrail” around 11 a.m. near Exit 91, NBC reports.
