Pumpkin Chunkin' is Back! Mark Your Calendars for October 18th!
Will you be the next Pumpkin Chunkin' King or Queen?
The Stonington COMO’s newest fall tradition, Pumpkin Chunkin, will be returning a couple weeks earlier this year as a pre-Halloween family fun event! Families, neighbors and friends are invited to the 3rd Annual COMO Pumpkin Chunkin on Sunday, October 18th from 1:00pm to 4:00 pm at Owen’s Field in the Stonington Borough. Children and adults will use the official COMO slingshot to launch pumpkins in an attempt to hit targets and win prizes in this epic pumpkin smashing competition. Participants who hit the grand prize gong will be entered for their chance to win the GRAND PRIZE, announced at 4:00 that day.
Tickets to launch pumpkins are only $1 and may be purchased at the event. COMO Members may pre-purchase their tickets for $.50 per ticket at thecomo.org or by visiting the COMO! Not interested in the competition? There will be plenty of fun games for all ages, a wide array of delicious treats, and lots of new and exciting surprises! Please be sure to arrive early, as there will be a limited number of entries. Pumpkins will be provided for all participants. Interested in sponsoring this festive fall event?
