Redevelopment Of Mystic Marina Proposed By Owners

MYSTIC, CT — The owners of a Mystic marina are proposing a redevelopment of the site, which would include construction of a 40-room hotel, a second restaurant and a public-access boardwalk, the New London Day reported.

According to the Day, the owners of Seaport Marine on Washington Street discussed the proposal with the Stonington Planning and Zoning Commission on Tuesday. They are expected to file a formal application in June.

Plans for the 11.5-acre site's redevelopment also include apartments, townhouses and single-family homes, according to the Day.
